Paul is a Principal Engineer on the NPG Storage Software Acceleration Team. He has been working in storage-related technologies for most of his 28+ year career at Intel including playing key leadership and development roles in the original Windows NVMe Open Source Driver, the OpenStack Swift project (core developer), the Persistent Memory Development Kit (PMDK) and also in his current role in the Storage Performance Develop Kit (SPDK) Open Source Community. Paul completed his undergraduate studies in Mathematics and Economics at Arizona State University and holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Software Engineering from Arizona State University, a Master's of Science degree in Health Science/Sports Performance and another MS in Leadership and Applied Management from the University of Colorado. Paul also has a half dozen storage related patents with a another half dozen pending.
