Greg Kramer is a founding member of the Direct Drive team and is currently responsible for the architecture of the Direct Drive data-plane, which includes its storage network protocol and the services responsible for replicating, storing, and repairing block data at cloud scale. In his previous roles at Microsoft, Greg co-designed the SMB Direct RDMA transport protocol and helped develop the SMB 3.x family of remote file system protocols.
