Alessia Marelli

Alessia Marelli is CTO of DNAalgo, where she leads the information theory team to study algorithms applied to DNA data storage. Before that she was technical leader at Microsemi where she was part of NAND characterization team with a special focus on data analysis and Flash Management Algorithms. Prior Microsemi, she was senior designer at IDT working on ECC solutions for Flash Controllers. Before that she worked in Infineon and STMicroelectronics defining Error Correction Code for the industry’s first MLC NAND with BCH embedded. She holds 30+ patents regarding Error Correction Codes and is co-author of a number of different books.
